La vita con il mio nuovo compagno!!! :)

HELLO!!!!  XD I reallllllly miss you all...  I have been having a great week, and my new companion is pretty cool.  She is from Italy (up north), and we speak Italiano very often.  This week, we have been to Carmellos house a lot, which has been really great!  :D  I love the Fresta/Frau family!  Wow, they are great!  XD Didn’t play any guitar with them this week, but we did get to go to Carmellos birthday party by Osvaldos booth near the ocean.  It was wayyyyyy fun and we all had a blast!  We ate octopus that Emiliano had caught for us (he loves to fish and fishes all day, every day- he is the coolest kid on the block!  :D).  Also, we have been spending a lot of time with the lovely Barbara Bartolucci, who I LOVE!  :D  She has the biggest heart!  Wow, she is cool.  She is working on getting her husband, Osvalso to go to the Temple with her.

AND I got your guys bday package for me!  XD I LOVED IT!!!!  ANNND I got the package from Laura too!  WOW, was that great to get.  I really loved reading your guys letters, and I hope Laura knows how much I appreciate her package!  :D  I am currently writing a handwritten letter for Laura.  LAURA! You are the best!  I miss you so much, my friend :)

OH!  And we have a dinner appt with the La Ferla Famiglia tonight too!  :D  I am really excited for that.

Hmmmmm, what else... Oh yeah!  I was opening my package from Laura while we were riding the Metro on the way home with the Anziani, and I pulled out the fan with the American flag on it.  (My companion thought it was way funny btw, because she is Italian ;) And Elder Smith totally loved it, took it and started fanning himself...  Lol.  Took a pic of it, but my camera cord went missing...  Gotta find it.  AND  my LOVELY times 10 fantastic letter from good ol David Barerra???  Yah, Anziano Smith took that too and read it out loud for me on the train.  Haha, it was pretty hilarious.  (David, loved your letter btw!  :D)  Haha, it is really fun to work with the Anziani.  Also, the mostra in front of the grocery store (for our new chapel in Ostia!  :D) went great!  We got to see Michayla Banchini (love her!) and her friends (an RM who came to Italy and his Dad).  I bought the sweets this week (Lol, every week we have done a mostra, Anziano Smith and Anziano Burnham have bought the sweets, so I got them this week).  It was wayyyy fun as always.

ALSO, after English course last Friday, we went to the Bar Siciliano for Gelato (We do this every week :)  We got to talk with the cool people who work there, and it was really nice.  And they are reading the Books of Mormon that we left for them!  :D  Che forte!

Lol, that’s all I’ve got for now! Ciao ciao!

Another Awesome Week of Serving the Lord. Transfers Announced!!! :)

AWESOME Week this week!  XD

We got transfer calls on Saturday, and we found that...

Sorella Hibbert is going to Taranto
Sorella Lovell is going to SICILIA :)
Anziano Burnham is going to Rome 1
Anziano Smith is staying in Ostia, annnnd
I am staying in Ostia with.... SORELLA PICCIRILO!  :D She was in my District this last transfer, and she is really awesome.  :)  She is from Italia (up north) and I am hoping that we can speak together in Italiano per un maggior parte dello questo trasferimento!  :D  I am soooo stoked!

Sooo, with the other Sorelle leaving, we have been saying a lot of goodbyes- especially because Sorella Lovell has been her in Ostia for over 6 months now!  Thus, we have been having many meal appointments with members, and were in danger of having TWO large Cena appointments yesterday, but when I prayed to be saved from this two dinner fiasco, it ended up not happening.  THANK GOODNESS!!!  Lol, power of prayer, baby!

And I just got practically the BEST email EVER from my awesome cousin, Shelby who said that she and her family will be sealed in the Temple together for eternity this month sometime.  I am sooo happy for them, and I know that it will be a fantastic experience that they will never forget.

SO!  Carmellos house!  We went over to his house on Monday for la Serata Familiare, and had a BLAST!  :D  (We were in danger of having two dinners that day too, so we prayed before going over that there would not be food, and there was not!  XD Yay!  Lol  ;)  But it was one of the best nights I have had here because I got to share a Spiritual thought with Anz. Burnham, and I got to see Carmello, Emiliano, Barbara...  I love those guys.  They are seriously some of my favorite people ever.  I took a selfie with Emiliano, and it is now one of my fav. photos of all time!  lol, Emiliano is Andrews age (16), so we are pretty good buddies :)  And sometimes Carmello reminds me of Dad!  Haha, last week he had a bag of cookies, and kept telling me "Mangia, mangia, Sorella!"  Haha, can’t remember if I have told that on already, buuut there it is!  ;)  I got to play a little guitar again there, and Emiliano started teaching me how to play "I Missionari del Mondo!"  :D  I am sooo stoked!

Also, we got to go visit the Blas family (who I LOVE!  :D), the Banchini family (:D), we saw Alessandra at DDM on Monday... Guys, I just love the people here...  They are all some of my fave. people ever, and I have only been here for 6 weeks!  Annnnd, we went to dinner at the Cervallos house a couple of days ago where we got to play games and talk to my buddies!  XD  (Luis and Michelle who are both around the age of 8).  They gave me a Pokemon card a while back, and asked me if I had it with me.  GAH!  Lol, I had just taken it out of my wallet, and did not have it, BUT I totally promised them I would have it with me on Sunday :).  I love those guys.  AND Luis came up to me on Sunday, held my hand and said, "You will add me on Facebook, right?"  Lol, love that kid!  And Michelle is super funny, and dances like Michael Jackson and says he’s Michael Jackson, jokingly, whenever I see him.  They are fantastic.  I really hope to do more work with their family this next transfer.  :)  OH!  And their Grandma is also fantastic, and we are buds as well :).  They are just the best.

Hmmm, what else has happened???  We visited the Coloseum last p-day, and will be going again to Rome today to get shoes for me and Hibbert.  Annnnd, haha, we took a funny trip to Termini the other day to meet someone who actually planned on meeting us at a totally different place than we had initially thought... Lol, so we took a very long trip to Termini to get stood up...  It was pretty fun though because it was raining, I made friends with these Bangladesh vendors who were Muslim (they were really funny!), and I saw the United Nations building in Rome right by the Vittorio Manuele building.  It was reeeally cool, and I freaked out and took some pics of it.  :)  I hope they get put on Facebook so my MUN enthusiast friends can see them!  :D

Well, that is all I have for now! Prossima Settimana, tutti!  :D

La mia bellissima figlia di Dio - My beautiful daughter of God

Ciao Tutti!  :D

I have to be a bit brief this week because I am already running low on time, trying to get pics up and stuff.  Soooo, this week went great!  :D  I got to another exchange with the Sorella in Roma 2, and it was solo awesome!  They are both from Italy, so I got to have over 24 hours of only Italiano!  (Except for the lesson we taught in English :).  (Awesome lesson, btw!  The girl we taught is 15, from Sierra Leon, and I am invited to her baptism on the 24th!  :D).  I really love Sorelle Caramia and Omer, though :)  They have true hearts of gold.  And the night that I stayed over at their house, I had a HUGE mosquito bite problem!  Literally... I had a bite on my foot that swelled soooo huge, the whole top of my foot was red and swelling...  Had some others like it plus practically dozens more of normal bites, but this one was crazy!  But Sorella Omer put some special Swiss cream on it, and it got sooo much better the next morning!  :D  She told me at the end of the exchange, "Just let me know if it swells up again, call us, and I can put some more cream on it for you!"  She is fantastic :)
Other than that, the past couple of days have been amaaaazing :D  Tough at times, but really great :)  The most notable moments I remember are our member appointments.  The night before last, we went over to the famiglia Banchinis house for a FHE and dinner.  It was sooo fun, and Sorella B cooks sooo good!  :D  It was really nice to spend some time with them and to get to know them better.  Fratello Banchini is funny; he told me I look English and asked me, "So, do you miss England?"  Lol :) They also said that I look like I would be a good politician too, and that I have the confidence to be a good diplomat-type person :)  Pretty cool.  I really love their family, and their daughter, Mikayla, is sooo awesome!  :D  She is 18 and plans to serve a mission very soon.
THEN, there was the awesome Pranzo appointment with the famiglia Battistini.  They are a retired couple who I absolutely LOVE!  They are really fun, and like to cook a TON of food for missionaries, but insist that the gelato is only a "gelatino" (small dessert).  Lol, they are really great :)  Their daughter is moving to Provo soon with her husband, so she asked us a lot of questions about that, so it was pretty nice to be able to give them some advice about that :).
Oh!!! :D  And I got to play GUITAR at Carmellos house the other day!  Lol, I taught Emiliano a song, and he and Carmello played several BEAUTIFUL songs for me and Sister Hibbert :)  Lol, and they remind me sooooooo much of Dad and Andrew!  Lol, Carmello kept trying to get me to eat cookies and soda (of which I had MANY cookies and a ton of soda because Carmello kept filling it up for me... lol :).  AND Carmellos taste in music is very similar to the classic rock that we totally love in our fam!  :D  He played "Hotel California" for us because I am from California ;) and I was able to sing some of it with him!  :D  LOVED IT!  XD
We also went over to the Padillas house for Julissas birthday yesterday :D  I really loved it.  We were her only guests that she wanted besides her Sister and her niece.  :)  I felt really honored to be there for her birthday.  OH!  And, Mom, Julissa is the lady you were talking about in that one e-mail a couple weeks ago :)  The one who you said you felt like you had seenher before :)  She is really cool, is in the primary dept in our ward, and I really love her!  :D
OH! And I sent a couple of letters thru the mail, lemme know if / when you get them!  :D  I really love you guys.
Write me everyone, I would really love to hear from you!  :D  It really uplifts and strengthens me when I get letters.  Ciao ciao for now!  :D

CIAO MIO SOLE!!!!! HELLO MY SUNSHINE!!! ANOTHER AMAZING WEEK'S EMAIL FROM COREY

This week has been great!!!  :D  We went to Latina yesterday again (the place where we are trying to start a ward) with Sister Anderson, who exchanged with Sister Lovell for our Scambi.  Sister Anderson is wayy cool!  Oh!!  And the night when she first got here (the Day before Latina) she came with me, Sister Hibbert, and the Anziani to la casa della famiglia Blas for Pietros bday party.  That was tooootally fun!  We got to have a dance party with all the kids there for Pietros 9th birthday.  All the kids there really thought I was cool because I like Pokemon a ton!  One of the boys gave me a Pokemon card on the bus that I will officially keep forever!  XD  Lol, it is awesome.  and, at the party, one of Pietros friends lead us all in some dances that he knew (Gangam Style, Afrika by Shakira, and a couple other really good songs.  Was probably one of my funniest days in the mission yet!!!  :D  annnd it was super cool being around all them because they are basically all from Peru!  So we got to sing happy b-day in Italian AND Spanish!!!  Sooo cool!
I think my friend, Elder Jiminez would totally serve here at some point slash would love it!!  :D  PS- if Jiminez reads this; Sister Anderson knows your trainer!!!  Lol, Buuuut after that, we got to go give this guy at a Pizza place a book of Mormon in Arabic, and he agreed to meet with us this Thurs so we can explain it!  :D  Unfortunately, I will not be here because I am doing another scambi with the Roma 2 Sorelle today and tomorrow.  They are both from Italy, so I will be speaking lots of Italian for the next 24 hours.  Wish me luck!!  And definitely pray for me!

Dopo quello, we went to the Agomeris house with Fabrizio (an RM in the area who is Sorella Agomeris grandson).  The lesson was reeeeeally cool because we went barely prepared at all, and ended up sharing a really encouraging message about how Sister A can stop smoking and can make it to the temple with her family.  (She is the one from Sicilia and has a thick accent).  Buuuut, she is really cool :) and is one of my favorite people here.  She was crying at the end of it, and said she was crying happy tears.  I will be praying for her to have the strength to quit smoking and drinking coffee. It was also really cool because she said that my Italian is doing really well!!  :D  And I got to lead the lesson too, and it was just awesome all around!  And Fabrizio helped sooooooooo much!!!  I am so thankful that he was there to help us and be a missionary again for a short time. :)  (he went to Milan)
Soooooo!  Latina!!  Lol.  I LOVED Latina yesterday for a variety of reasons:  1- Sister Anderson is way fun to be around and she brought so much optimism and light to our companionship. 2- I was the most fluent Italian speaker, so I got to try the waters a TON, and I really loved that!  :D  3- Sister Andersons boldness allowed us to be able to teach a short lesson to this Romanian man in the park who wants us to come back and teach him!  XD  3- Doing work with the Elders is SO fun!  Especially because one of the Elders reminds me sooooo much of Andrew!  :D  4- Latina is just awesome!  It is way close to Napoli and is WOW beautiful! :)  5- We met Osvaldo, a hair-cutter who wants people to accept the fact that animals have spirits. He also talked a lot about the idea of, "God created all men, so why do we have Saints instead of just worshipping God?"  He was very passionate about this subject, and agreed to meet with us next week!  :D  He is soooo cool!  I look forward to meeting with him again. 6- We touched bases with a ton of people who have stuff to do the next couple of weeks, but will be able to meet soon.  DUDE!  The work is on FIRE in Latina!  I just wish we had more than one day a week there... the goal is to get a branch going so we can get a bishop and some Elders there. Sisters too please!  XD)
Welp, today was fantastic as well!  :D  We visited soooo many cool sites in Rome!  (Spanish stairs in Roman Holiday, the Roman Forum, we saw the Coloseo for a sec, and went into a couple of churches and the Vittorio e Manuelle which is this MASSIVE building that has the tomb of the unknown soldiers in it! Andrew would love it :)  I think of Andy a lot...  I miss my little bro...
Communque, grazie per tutto, e....
ciao for now!!  :D
